Sarah Wooley

Sarah is a writer for Radio, Television and Theatre. Since 2010 she has specialised in biographical plays on Radio.  Her first being A Nice Little Holiday about John Osborne, Tony Richardson and Christopher Isherwood. It was broadcast on Radio 4 in 2010 and has been repeated several times. Since then she has written plays for Radio 4 about composers Philip Glass and Steve Reich, the architect Erno Goldfinger and the playwright Tennessee Williams. Her Play about Andy Warhol called, ‘Fifteen Minutes’ was part of the BBC’s Pop Art Season in 2015. Sarah’s latest play, ‘Victim’ about Dirk Bogarde was broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on Sunday July 9th as part of the Gay Britannia season marking the 50th anniversary of The Sexual Offences Act.
