Tuesday 29 May, 6.30 – 8.30pm

Hugo Vickers, acclaimed royal biographer, is the author of the superb Elizabeth, The Queen Mother and Behind Closed Doors: The Tragic Untold Story of Wallis Simpson among many other royal titles. His most recent book, just out, is The Quest for Queen Mary, a collection of interviews made by James Pope-Hennessy while writing his great life of Queen Mary. Frank, funny, irreverent and stuffed with plums, these interviews were embargoed for fifty years. Now at last Hugo Vickers reveals the true story of Queen Mary.
Join us on Tuesday 29th May to hear Hugo Vickers discuss his adventures as a lifelong royal biographer with Jane Ridley in the chair.
